Spain Ranked as No. 1 Destination for Digital Nomads in 2025

  • Palma de Mallorca – Ranked 6th
  • Barcelona – Ranked 7th

The digital nomad trend continues to reshape the global workforce, and Spain is leading the charge in Europe. Its digital nomad visa, introduced in early 2023, allows remote workers to legally live and work in Spain while benefiting from a competitive non-resident tax regime, especially under Spain’s Beckham Law, which offers substantial tax breaks for foreign professionals.

As the popularity of Spain’s Digital Nomad Visa (DNV) continues to increase, demand for specialized immigration and tax-related legal services is growing accordingly.

This development is actively supported by the Barcelona digital nomad community, which facilitates access to reliable professional guidance for international professionals relocating to Spain. In collaboration with Katherine Barnes of The Visa Desk Spain, the community provides tailored consultancy services, including one-on-one consultations, in-person advisory sessions at community events, and regular monthly webinars.

These initiatives ensure that digital nomads have access to clear, up-to-date information and expert support throughout the DNV application and relocation process.
